Walking Tour of Downtown Moneda Street.
IWC partners with Understand Mexico to bring you a fun walking tour.
Details: What appears to be a quiet street, perpendicular to the National Palace, turns out to be studded with unexpected museums, murals and lots of surprising sites.
It was here, on one of the oldest streets downtown, that the first printing press in America was set up, along with the Spanish Mint, the Royal Academy of Arts and much more. Today, several of the colonial buildings have been spruced up and re-purposed into museums and cultural centers. We will have the opportunity to visit a wide variety of stunning historic buildings, cultural centers, museums and see lots of unexpected treasures, including a few archaeological windows! Join us for an unusual morning out.
