By becoming a general member of the International Women's Club (IWC) of Mexico City, I agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. In consideration of the IWC accepting myself as a general member of the IWC and permitting me to participate in any of the IWC events or charity activities in which I may enroll myself, I hereby irrevocably and unconditionally release and discharge all general members and board members of the IWC from all claims of any injury and/or loss or damage, however caused, to myself, my family and/or my personal belongings suffered at any time during the course of my participation in events and charity activities organized by the IWC.

2. I understand and agree that, unless required by applicable law, the IWC gives no warranty in respect of and shall not be liable for any goods or services provided to me as a general member of the IWC by its sponsors or other members.

3. I understand and agree that the IWC gives no warranty in respect of and shall not be liable for any goods purchased via the Facebook group, IWC Members’ Community.

4. I irrevocably authorize and consent to the use of any photograph or video of myself and/or my family for the publicity purposes of IWC.

5. I agree to receive via email the IWC monthly newsletter and other IWC announcements. If I register for an event that requires more contact information, I may be added to a WhatsApp group, and thus my phone number will be shared with other registrants of that event.

6. As a general member, I understand that I may not accept cash on behalf of the IWC nor should I give cash to another IWC general member for membership dues, sponsorship fees, event fees, or charitable donations. (For exceptions regarding board members and the acceptance of cash, please refer to the IWC Board Code of Conduct.)

7. Many IWC events are free; however, some of of them have a cost. If I register for an event through the website calendar or Wild Apricot app that has a cost, then I am obligated to pay the cost of the event if I cancel my registration after the cut-off date for payment or if I am a no-show for the event. The same policy applies for any guests I may register under my name. Failure to pay the event's cost can result in a suspension of my membership.
